Cocoa
The core agricultural value chain.
Cocoa remains the foundation of the union: aggregation, quality control and marketing on behalf of members across 15 primary societies.
Enterprise 02
Gari
Women-led cassava processing enterprise.
Asetenapa began exploring cassava diversification in 2023 under the Acting Now programme facilitated by Agriterra, and the women's council — already experienced in cassava processing — led the business plan completed in September 2024. With Agriterra co-financing, the cooperative acquired graters, crushers, roasting pans and sealing machines worth over €5,000 (contributing 20 per cent itself) plus tricycles and a motorbike valued at €5,075.09 for logistics and extension. The gari factory and training centre was commissioned on 20 August 2025, and gari is fortified with local staples such as beans to strengthen household nutrition.

TreePET / Tree planting
Environmental and restoration initiative.
Tree planting supports shade, soil health and restoration around cocoa landscapes. Verified restoration figures will be published once confirmed.
